1964-67          apprenticeship as a goldsmith, by Hadfried Rinke, Worpswede

1968-72          working in different studios

1972-74          'Schule für Bau und Gestaltung',(school for Constrution and Design) Munich,

1974                examination for the title - master of goldsmith, as the best of Bavaria

1975                since this time own studio in Munich

1976                award -  'Jahrespreis der Danner-Stiftung'  -

1981                foundation of 'Galerie Spektrum' in Munich together with Jürgen Eickhoff

1982                award  "Preis der deutschen Kunsthandwerker"

1988                award  "Förderpreis der Landeshauptstadt München"

1991                award  "Bayerischer Staatspreis"

1993                lecture as 'city-goldsmith' in Schwäbisch Gmünd

1995                lecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence,R.I. USA
